The last part of our demolition was to get the floor up out of the kitchen. This was easier said than done. There were multiple layers, and they were laid very well.
A MESS!!! |
This became an all hours adventure. When I would have to go home to put Adelaide to bed, I loved getting snapchats from Kevin about the progress.
We figured out through this process on what works and what does not work. As much HGTV that we watch, we truly felt like there should be video cameras behind the scenes capturing our crazy moments.
While the guys tackled the kitchen floor, I tackled this huge pile in our backyard with the help of the Amazing Adelaide.
This literally took almost two days to go through because it was so much and their were nails everywhere. It kept raining so I would have to stop, but thank goodness for rain boots I was able to get it done.
Little Me following Behind |
Separating the good from the bad |
Someone wanted to play on the second day while everyone worked.
Aunt Hannah let her play in the water which she loved.
After a long hard weekend, everyone got their jobs done!
It was wet so I couldn't get the little stuff up. |
We were all worn out but felt successful.
