1 Month Old

Dempsey turned one month old this week.  It seems crazy that one month ago we were welcoming him into the world.  We have loved having the extra time this summer to spend with him especially Adelaide.

He has adjusted to a schedule quickly, and he sleeps for about 3 hours at a time. He does well sleeping in his crib at night and during the day we let him sleep in a Rock-n-Play or carrier depending on where we are at.

He was not a huge fan of his first bath, but he was very relaxed afterwards.

He has gotten to go to the river house a few times, and we can’t wait until he gets old enough to get on the water.

My mom gave us this at the hospital when Adelaide was born.  We took her picture by it every month to show how much she grew.  Now, we are able to do it with Dempsey.  Adelaide wanted in on the picture so she ran and got this dog, "Spot".  (I actually gave the dog to Kevin when we were dating in high school, and he kept it the whole time.)

We can't wait to see how much he grows this next month.
