Farmer's Daughter

We celebrated Father's Day a few weekends ago by going to church at Englewood with my parents and eating lunch at Olive Garden.

The following day Kevin started cutting wheat, and we haven't seen much of him since.  Poor Adelaide is asleep when he leaves in the mornings and when he comes home.  In order to see him some, we have been having to go out to the field and ride with him. Oh the joys of being a farmer's daughter!

The first day we went I had her dressed in a nice plaid dress, but I was instructed before I left the house that she had to wear her "work clothes" to the field.  So this is what we ended up with. :)

Daddy was happy to see us, and "little bit" was very interested in things.

After trying to stay up the entire time, she finally gave in for a nap.

We went back a few days later to visit again.

This time I did not dress her in her "work clothes", but she still insisted on driving.

We have been back a few more times to take lunch and visit.  We were even more excited when Kevin got off early yesterday due to rain.  We finally got to have dinner all together!  Here's to another week or two of living the life of a farmer's wife and daughter.
